PROJECTS
Our Latest Work
These two short videos reflect the breadth and diversity of our documentary productions. Each under ten minutes long, they’re examples of the issues and the individuals impacted by the American Justice system that Unincarcerated Productions seeks to highlight through our work.
Bull: A Tale of Two Brothers
Born penniless in Detroit, raised in poverty and foster care, and a young initiate to gang life, William Bailey Bullard defied all odds to become a basketball phenom and spend thirteen years on the world famous Harlem Globetrotters. Now retired and using his voice and skills to help others, we trace his amazing rags to riches story from his early upbringings in Detroit, all the way to North Korea at a sit down dinner with Kim Jong Un, setting three Guinness World Records, and fighting to exonerate his imprisoned brother along the way.
Unincarcerated the Podcast
Unincarcerated: The Podcast aims to highlight the experiences of those who have been affected by the Criminal Justice System and have broken free of its cycle of relapse and recidivism.
Justice Delayed with Jodie and Billy Sinclair
This podcast is an examination of the American Criminal Justice System and Prison Industrial Complex. Join Billy and Jodie as they tackle difficult topics and come to grips with injustice, corruption, and human rights violations resulting from Retributive Justice and guide us towards a vision of Restorative Justice.
Firestorm
For the first time, the story of one of the most notorious crimes in Seattle history is told from all sides, including the man who pleaded guilty and served 23 years in prison. An unbiased and unfiltered examination of what happened, and how it still affects the lives of those involved over 25 years later.
Bullbody Project

The Sinclair Project
Authors Jodie and Billy Sinclair met in the Death House at Angola State Prison in 1981. She was a posh TV News Journalist. He was an award-winning inmate reporter. They instantly fell in love on that fateful day and fought a 25 year battle to free Billy from an unjust sentence.
Washington State Penitentiary Project
The Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, WA is among the oldest operational prisons in the country. With that comes a rich, dark history. A series of shorts examines the time period in the 1970s when the prison was part of a great experiment that put the power in the hands of the prisoners, and the ensuing chaos that followed.
Unincarcerated the Series
A docuseries highlighting the post-incarceration experience, looking to the Unincarcerated as thought leaders and trailblazers.
